Sparked Magazine is published by Sparked Media Inc. This notice explains what information we collect through the website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Newsletter requests
When you ask to receive Sparked Magazine updates, we collect your email address, your explicit consent, the version of the consent wording, and limited source information showing where the request was made. We use this information only to process your subscription request, prevent duplicates, respect suppression and unsubscribe choices, and send the Sparked updates you requested.
The website form is presented through WordPress and Jetpack. Subscription requests are processed through our Contact Sync and Brevo double opt-in route. We do not sell subscriber information.
You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter. You may also use the published contact route to ask about, correct, or withdraw your consent.
Website measurement
We use optional analytics to understand which articles readers use, how they move through the site, and whether site features work. Optional analytics remain off until you choose to allow them. The current measurement services are Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Metricool. These tools may receive technical information such as page viewed, device and browser information, approximate location derived from network information, referral source, and interaction events after consent.
You can reject optional analytics and continue using the site. You can reopen your privacy choices and change your decision later.
Essential website operation
WordPress may use strictly necessary storage for security, administration, form delivery, and preferences needed to operate the site. These functions are not used to subscribe you to marketing.
Media and external services
Articles may include privacy-enhanced video or links to external sites. An embedded service remains blocked until the applicable visitor choice where required. External sites apply their own privacy practices after you follow a link.
Retention and safeguards
We retain subscriber and consent records only while needed for the stated purposes, legal obligations, and suppression history. Access is limited to the services and operators responsible for the subscriber relationship. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and review this notice when the services or purposes change.
