The diverse musical lineup at Envision Music & Arts Festival 2017 is one for all time! Located in Uvita, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, Envision takes place February 23-26, 2017 on Rancho De Merced.

Envision isn’t just about music, of course—there’s equal space devoted to activities such as yoga, sacred movement (drumming, kirtan, etc.), healing modalities, permacultures, art, and plant healing, but we believe that it’s through their musical curation that a truly deep and impactful experience is created for each individual and as a whole. Entering into its 7th year, Envision is arguably one of the world’s leaders in transformative experiences, and this year’s lineup says a lot about how it creates that journey for us to travel.

Across 4 stages and inside the magical natural jungle amphitheater that is Ranch La Merced, you will find something to surprise you, to inspire you, and to down right move you. From Envision veterans like Random Rab, a multi-instrumentalist and singer, with organic, uplifting tracks influenced by trip-hop, classical, and Arabic; to new comers like Nicol Luminous, with a brand of “Glitch-a-delic Soul Whomp” fusing Melodic progressions, futuristic sound design and organic elements into sexy bass rollers.

Last year, the live-music only Sol Stage really captured our attention, especially with standout local tropical disco band Patterns, who we’ve been following ever since! This year look out for Satsang on Friday, Autograf on Saturday night and Envision Orchestra on Sunday night, you will not be disappointed. Live music is still one of the most beautiful experiences life has to offer.

At the Luna Stage (main stage) this year the musical vibes will vibrating with a whole new purpose from the freshly installed Funktion-One Evo 7 sound system, arguably one of the best audio rigs in the world. The company made big leaps over the last couple of years after discovering new technologies to apply in their designs: you can read all about the new relationship between Envision and Funktion-One here. Don’t miss Bumble’s Thursday late night set at this stage, The Funk Hunters on Friday, and Filabusta on Saturday evening. They will all squeeze every ounce of musical fidelity out of these speakers and leave you mesmerized.

The Lapa Stage (check out Oceanvs Orientalis on Sat) and the Village Stage (check out Leah Song on Sun), round out the musical areas with music ranging from Reggae to Psychedelic Electronica, House, world music, and beyond.

You can read the bios of all the musical artists here.
